So... how does this differ from the ML series?

Very interesting
Wonderful tutorial!
Hi, may I ask why there is no need to add sensible load from people load, equipment and light load when calculating the sensible load?
U r baddass
This is the best information about why the air blows out sometimes on a series VAV box.
This doesn't look like it has a lot of light output. Doesn't really seem feasible as a lighting option.
thanks for the explanation! This helps very much! Do you have a video showing how you can tell if you have a 2 pipe or 4 pipe system?

How do I come out with min and mx cfm numbers in vav box to specific room. Any answers would be great. At work place my Co worker keep changing the cfm without fixing the heating and colling problem. The original numbers are lost. Thanks in advance.
Is a plenum box needed for the supply side of AC or could metal Y’s be used? About 10’ from my handler is a plenium box that comes in with a big foil duct (maybe 16”) and exits the box at a right angle and exits with 3 different sized foil ducts (10”, 6” and 4”). Couldn’t i just use a Y into another Y to keep the air flow running straighter instead of a right angle and eliminate the box? I assume making right angles slows air flow. (The rooms with the 6” and 4” ducts don’t get as cool. I Was going to install in line booster fans for them too.). (Hawai’i so AC only, no heat).
Greqt presentation. Easy to understand. May I have soft copy. Thanks
Great video you explain this stuff so well!
How much more it costs compare to conventional diffuser?
These units are wild lmao
Do you have a high temperature psychrometric chart? For temperature 350F/175C, for example, or almost twice a boiling point of water. We need high temp chart for M-Cycle. Would you like to see real breakthrough psychrometric chart with elegant explanation and whiteboard animated drawings? ua-cam.com/video/NzdNwKBVXT8/v-deo.html
So in open plenum systems is it just the AHU return fan sucking all the ambient air in the general direction of the AHU just more slowly than ducted returns?
Yes, open plenum systems are only ducted on the Supply through which the conditioned air is delivered to the occupied space. The Return side of the unit is open to the plenum above the ceiling grid and pulls air from the surrounding plenum space. This means that the HVAC equipment will need a filter on the unit directly at the return to filter the plenum air. Because the Return side of the unit is open to the general air space in the plenum, the air velocity near the HVAC equipment will be lower than the velocity traveling through Return ductwork. However having the Return open to the plenum space rather than ducted means the motor will work against lower ESP than a ducted Return system. @@TitusHVAC thank you so much 🙏
Thank you NOW I HAVE LET THE GC KNOW HE NEEDS TO FRAME OUT THE SLOT FIRST.
perfect thank you
Question, @3:24 you say that you don't want to run both coils at the same time, but earlier the discussion was about preheat vs reheat. ...Aren't the heating coils running concurrently with cooling in both scenarios? Thank you
In preheat, very cold, possibly subfreezing air is being drawn into the system and must be heated before it can be used, so only the heating coil is being used. And reheat may be required if high dehumidification results in lower than normal cooling temperatures. This of course is to be avoided if at all possible, because it results in simultaneous heating and cooling.
@@TitusHVAC Thank you.
Atually the required air flow to create pressure differential is dependent on the air flow across the doors. Thus door size and leakage round the door is important.
Apart from my mum this lady is the best
I am grateful of the explanation of the thermal diffuser near the 9:00 it really cleared up the instructions, at least for me. Thank you

Question do you need filter in that handler because the return air has a filter
Although it is sometimes desirable to filter return air at a return air grille, it is standard practice to filter all air at the air handler. This is necessary to keep the air handler coils clean.
Amazing video!
Thanks very informative.
Thank you very informative.
Romans8:31 if God is for us who can be against us?
thank you, i am studying for my cih exam and this is exactly what I needed to understand these curves
Thank you so much for making it clear!!!
Where i live heat and humidity are kept outside with a large HVAC system, i only want to infuse some fresh air into it. A ERV seems overly complicated and expensive. there is a way to keep the heat outside and bring in fresh air. It has to do with where the fresh air is being drawn in. I am trying to design a system that is much simpler and still provides exactly what i want.
As I understand, your existing HVAC system purely cools/heats and recirculates indoor air. As such you have no real need for an ERV. If that is the case, you could simply introduce fresh (outside) air without tempering it, but doing so we increase the cooling/dehumidifying and heating loads your existing HVAC system has to handle. If you are comfortable that it is capable of handling the increased loads that is one option. However, you might you will also need to exhaust a similar volume of the room air as that outside air you brought in. You might consider adding a plate type heat exchanger serving the outside and exhaust air streams to minimize the effects on your existing HVAC system.
